ABOUT US

Serving Hawai’i for Generations

Meadow Gold Dairies Hawaii has a deep and rich legacy. Established in 1897, our story began when seven pioneering dairies came together to form the Dairymen's Association, a partnership that would eventually evolve into the renowned Meadow Gold.

While the ownership of Meadow Gold has changed hands over the years, today we are proud to stand as a locally owned, family-operated business committed to the future of Hawaii.

A Strong Commitment to the Community

At Meadow Gold, we are committed to providing nutritious, high-quality dairy products to Hawaii's families and communities.

With our extensive presence across the islands, including warehouses on Oahu, Hawai'i Island, Maui, and Kauai, we ensure that the wholesome goodness of Meadow Gold reaches every community on our islands.

We strive to be an integral part of our community, not just as a business but as an active participant in the overall betterment of the community.

Local and Sustainable Foods for Hawaii's Future

In 2020, the Sadeghi family embraced a challenging but meaningful mission when they acquired Meadow Gold - to revitalize and secure Hawaii's local milk supply and dairy processing. Presently, only one commercial dairy farm operates in the state, making local milk a precious rarity.

Our vision is simple but profound - to bring back the abundance of local dairy, sustainably and responsibly. While our local milk currently supplies only a portion of the state's dairy demand, we also import bulk and packaged milk to meet the needs of our community.

Our goal is not just to sustain Hawaii's dairy industry but to see it flourish once more. As stewards, we ultimately want to respect our ʻāina (land) and the culture of Hawaii.

At Meadow Gold, we proudly purchase and process 100% of the commercially available local milk and actively invest in local farming initiatives. We are the last remaining dairy processor in the state of Hawaii, and we are well positioned to play a role in reducing our reliance on mainland imports by investing more into local manufacturing.
